Jim Tuttle called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.

Minutes – November 29, 2006

 McGettigan/Herlihy to approve 11/29/06 minutes as written. All in favor.

Pennichuck (PWW): Mr. Tuttle will contact Bernie at Pennichuck and arrange a meeting with the Commissioners in order to discuss some issues that have arisen.

PB/WWW Joint Committee: Steve Wagner, with NRPC, is working on new gravel overlay district language that will be presented to voters in March. Voters will also be asked to adopt the most current map of the recharge area.

Reduced Salt Use: Mr. Herlihy will draft a letter to the Wilton police and fire departments, the Lyndeborough/Wilton/Temple Ambulance, the Wilton school bus companies and the Wilton Selectmen asking each of them to send a letter supporting low salt usage on Route 31 South near the Wilton municipal wells. Mr. McGettigan will hand deliver the final letters.

Pine Valley Mill: The backflow preventer at the mill needs to be tested and the piping needs to be checked out as well. Mr. Mcgettigan will contact Mike at Earthworks and visit the site. Mr. Tuttle will contact Pennichuck regarding testing and checking out the piping.

Rules & Regs: The Commissioners set a date to meet on January 18th at 7 p.m.

Upper Main Street Services: Mr. McGettigan needs to check to be sure that all the services have been changed to copper before the sidewalk project begins next spring.

Ray Mahoney: Mr. Tuttle received a phone call from Ray Mahoney, the manager of the yellow apt. bldg. on Main St., who said that the tenants were having a problem with water pressure. Mr. McGettigan will follow up with him and find out what the problem is.
