October 12, 2005

Mr. Herlihy acted as clerk in Ms. Nilsson’s absence

Mr. Tuttle called the meeting to order @ 7:30 p.m.

A special meeting was called to consider the bid received from Jim Parker for completion of the 2nd river crossing.  After lengthy consideration it was decided, by the Commissioners that the bid was too expensive for the work being performed and it was rejected unanimously.

Richard and Ben from CEI were instructed to rewrite the river crossing specifications as discussed in the meeting and have them ready to bid for the following spring.  It was hoped that additional contractors would bid on one or all 3 phases at that time.

A time limit of Thanksgiving was established for the completion of the specs. for the directional boring from Eastview Condominiums to the Chou land.  Bids to be opened in late January or early February.

C-value testing of selected parts of the Wilton water system was authorized by the Commissioners unanimously.  CEI to proceed as soon as Mr. McGettigan has made sure all affected valves open and close properly.

Mr. Tuttle moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Mr. Herlihy with all in favor.  The meeting was adjourned @ 9:10 p.m.

Tom Herlihy  (Acting as Clerk)
