Minutes of Meeting;    Draft

April 14, 2008, 7:15 PM

Members present: Laurence S. Coronis, William G. Mahar, H. Alan Preston, Leslie P. Tallarico, Lynne E. Draper, Spencer C. Brookes II,  Dawn Tuomala of Monadnock Survey, and Jessie Salisbury .  Member W. Bart Hunter was absent.

March 10 Minutes were discussed and approved.

Review and comments on the Town Meeting.

Budget & Expenditure:  Request monthly report on expenditures for the second Monday of the month meeting.

ZBA issues were discussed.  Minutes of ZBA need to be sent to all Conservation Commission members as a way to get notices of site walks.

Dawn Tuomala of Monadnock Survey showed plans of Perham Woods.   A letter will be sent by WCC to the Planning Board with a request to have a biologist hired by the Planning Board to consider the existing environmental study done by the owner and the significant indirect impacts to the nearby area wetlands.

The WCC is interested in working with the developer of Provost Project to come up with trail plans.

McKay violation photo graphs will be done by Alan and the WCC needs to communicate with NHDES on this violation.

WCC needs to work with Dan Zabara on the Baseline documents and develop a plan for payments at closing of the Wilton-Temple Community Farm. Spencer and Lynne will work on this.

Les and Spencer met evaluated the tree that Stephanie Rockwell is concern of the state of its health and at this point, the WCC will allow for her to remove the tree without cost to the town.

Carnival Hill Garden found an open well in the Carnival Hill woodlot near the garden.  Alan is going work with the Road Agent to make the location safe.   We approve the expenditure of $250 or less for closing the well.

Saving Special Places report was given by Lynne and Spencer.
