The Wilton Conservation Commission held a special meeting on Monday, 11 February 2008, at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall Courtroom.  All members present and the following individuals. George Demaris of Derry, NH, Bruce Gilday of Concord, NH, Donna D’Amore, Louis D’Amore of Hillside Road, Wilton, Betsy Dunn of Cambridge, MA, Jessie Salisbury of Lyndeborough, Linda Goinsalvos of Wilton and Rose Draper of Wilton.

A number of items in this report were agreed on by consensus.  Any measure where a vote was taken is noted by standard motion procedures.

Minutes of Jan 14th, December 10th, December 21st, and November 12th were approved.

Hillside of Wilton LLC (Pead Hill Drive Subdivision) representative, Demaris and Bruce Gilday presented the plan dated Feb 4th revision with discussions by abutters and CC members.   Spencer & Lynne will work on a letter to DES wetlands, DES Alternation of the terrain group, Planning, Selectmen and Zoning.

The Perham Woods land offer was discussed and a motion was made by Laurence, seconded by Les to continue study of funding sources, keeping the valued habitat land undeveloped and Lynne will ask for an appraisal value be done by the land owner.   All approved.

Excavation Bill HB 1223 The State Legislature killed the bill.

Signs for Route 31 land, Hoover Property, and McGettigan sign will be investigated by Spencer.

Open Land, Laurence was authorized to continue with his project by making contact with some of the landowners and reimbursement of expenses was approved.

Wilton Community Gardens at Carnival Hill were approved by the selectmen.

Addendum:  Bill, Bart and Spencer attended a Granit GPS workshop at NRPC.
