1) Chairman Greene called the regular meeting to order and made a motion to adjourn to a Non-Public Session per RSA 91:A:3,II©. The regular meeting was called to order at 7:15 pm.
2) Betsy Castro attended the meeting to inform the Board that a large group of Non-Profit Groups and Churches have got together and are making plans to have a Festival. It will be a community effort on June 7th, with a breakfast, day long activities and ending with a street dance. When asked if the Board thought it would be possible to close part of Main Street, Selectman Greene suggested that the Fire Chief be informed before plans are finalized.
3) Dennis Markaverich attended the meeting to discuss the parking. Mr. Rockwood informed him that his request to eliminate the six spaces designated as 30 minute parking would not be a possibility. The thirty minute parking was designed to help the store owners and will remain that way for now.
4) The Board approved and signed the appointment of Dawn Tuomala as an alternate to the Planning Board.
5) Chairman Greene signed a letter to the Department of Environmental Services asking for an extension to the Incinerator Permit that will expire May 31, 2008. The letter requested a two year extension in which time, a decision will have to be made as to what direction the Recycling Center will take. The alternatives could be new scrubbers in the incinerator, a new incinerator or stop burning altogether. All possible solutions will be studied over the next two years.
6) Chairman Greene signed a contract for the annual audit for 2007. The audit will commence the end of the month.
7) The Board reviewed a letter from a resident asking for an elderly exemption. It was pointed out that the owner is not living in the house. The possibility of a hardship lien will be investigated.
8) The Board reviewed a request for a disability lien and will investigate the circumstances of the request before making a decision.
9) The bills and payroll for the week ending March 1st were reviewed and approved.
10) Correspondence and informational material was reviewed.
11) Selectman Rockwood thanked Mr. Greene for his many years of service to the Town of Wilton. This was the last meeting that Mr. Greene will attend as Selectman. Mr. Greene became a Selectman in 1993 and served on the Board until now. Mr. Greene served on many town boards during his 15 years a Selectmen. His contributions to the town have been greatly appreciated and he will be missed.

Respectfully Submitted;
