Present: Selectmen Jerry Greene, Richard Rockwood and Daniel Donovan, III and Recording Secretary Peggy Arn

1) Maurice attended the meeting and Chairman Jerry Greene signed a contract for the hazardous waste day collection with Clean Harbers Environmental Services.  Other general operating issues were discussed.

2) The Board discussed the issue of the maintenance of Mount Calvary Cemetery.  Mr. Donovan stated that he has started the work to give the Archdiocese the trust funds and the deed records of Mount Calvary.  Selectman Greene and Rockwood both stated their concerns with this issue.  After a discussion, it was agreed to ask the Trustees of the Cemetery to attend next weeks meeting to get their feelings on the issue.

3) The next discussion was that concerning the annual town meeting.  As a result of the discussion the following motion was presented:

Motion:  Selectman Donovan made a motion that the annual town meeting be held on two separate days.  The school meeting will be scheduled for Thursday, March 13, 2008  at 7:30 pm and the town meeting be held on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 7:30 pm. Selectman Rockwood seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

4) The Board conducted three interviews for the position of Building Inspector.  No decision was made to offer the position.  Two more interviews were scheduled from the resumes received.

5) The bills and payroll for the week ending January 19, 2008 were reviewed and approved.

6) The correspondence and informational material was reviewed.

The meeting was adjourned on a motion with all in favor at 9:30 pm.
