Draft Minutes of Sept. 1, 2010

 

Present:  Trustees Doreece Miller, Brian Adams and Dave Boissonnault, Jim Tuttle-Water Dept.

 

The Trustees approved the minutes of August 4, 2010

 

* Discussion Items

 

§  Doreece made a motion to accept the Aug. 4, 2010 minutes, seconded by Brian Adams. Motion passed.

 

§  August 15 meeting was cancelled due to conflict of times.

 

§  Discussion on backflow devices at Laurel Hill and Mt. Calvary. It was asked that we add to our budget a sum not to exceed $2,000 for work that was done at Laurel Hill and Mt. Calvary. We informed Jim that the bill for Mt. Calvary would need to be sent to the Diocese of Manchester directly as this did not pertain to maintenance of the cemetery. i.e. cutting and maintaining the lawn at the Mt. Calvary.  Also, it was suggested that we add a $65 fee for annual inspection of the backflow device.  The water meter would belong to the Water Department, the backflow device and plumbing should any maintenance issues arise would be to the Cemetery Trustees responsibility. 

 

§  Discussed with Jim Tuttle of the Water Department that if any work should need to be done in the cemeteries pertaining to the Water Department that we would be apprised of the situation before the work is done.

 

 

Next meeting September 15, 2010 @ Town Hall - 7 pm. To familiarize with old documents of the cemeteries.
