PRESENT:    All Trustees and Carl Michaud

The minutes of April 14th were accepted as presented.

Carl Michaud spoke to the trustees about the possibility of implementation of green burials in the Wilton cemeteries.  The trustees had some questions that can be answered when we see specs. on the materials used.  The Rules and Regulations will be updated to reflect any changes.

We received a written request from a Milford resident with Wilton ties about the purchase of 7 grave sites at Vale End.  Answers for questions raised need to be addressed before the board can agree to the request.  We will discuss it more at our next meeting.

We received a note from our custodian about the burial of Mr. Edgar A. Whitney, Jr. in Laurel Hill Cemetery on May 12th.  Due to the family’s financial hardship the town has been asked to waive it’s fees.  The trustees have agreed to this.

The next meeting will be Monday, June 2nd, at the Wilton Town Hall at 7PM.
