Present: Donald Davidson, Joyce Fisk (School Board Representative), Cary Hughes (Chair), William Keefe, Daniel Levesque, David Tierney, Mark Whitehill
1. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
2. The Highway, Resurfacing, Cemeteries, and parks budgets were previewed by the committee in preparation for the meeting with the Highway Agent on November 30th.
3. The committee previewed the Police Department budget requests for 2005. Particular attention was paid to new equipment and the hand rail requirement. The department will need to purchase a new cruiser, as part of its bi-annual rotation plan.
4. The committee discussed the Emergency Management Budget Request of $3,000.00. The request for $2,500.00 for a radio for emergency communications capability raised some questions. The committee will invite Tom Herlihy to meet with the committee to discuss this request.
5. The committee approved the Elections and Registrations Budget request of $1,275.00.
6. The committee discussed and approved the Sewer Department Budget Request of $203,890.00 noting that it is a reduction of nearly $3,000.00 from last years request.
7. The committee previewed the upcoming proposal for a bond to fund future land purchases for conservation purposes. The committee will meet with the Conservation Commission in December.
8. The meeting adjourned at 9:10 p.m.
